We RARELY make reservations where we PAY $25/pp to make one but we GLADLY will for Istanbul! I ADORE their soul warming, savory lamb shank! I always have a heart warming Ratatouille movie moment, that one where the cold hearted restaurant critic is taken back in time, a time where his loving mother made him his favorite dish of Ratatouille. I even had that moment each time I ate my leftovers. Enjoy the lamb chops that are cooked and seasoned to PERFECTION! My husband is an impeccable protein chef and even HE was moaning in agreement. The mocktail that everyone is talking about reminds me of the theatrically presented smoked bourbon from Saga bar in Sydney. It's THAT good. Smokey, sexy, sip after delicious sip.

We initially were just looking for Istanbul Hawaii and where to park as we had plans to have lunch there for the first time the following week. It took us by surprise to find it open at 15:30, since it says it is closed during that time online. For us, it was a sign of things meant to be. We were very warmly welcomed and were able to sit outside to enjoy the views. There are zebra doves that may visit, but even the birds were polite and kept their distance. Our waiter was Luka. He really elevated our dining experience. He was incredibly knowledgable, very detail oriented, and thoughtful. The food. I am literally dreaming of when we will visit again. Do you have vegetarian and vegan friends/family? Well there is an entire menu for plant based diners. Incredible and every bite was delicious. We started off with a Meze Platter Unveiled. By the time I remembered to take a photo, we had eaten it all. Our table also ordered the Za'atar Frites, the Cauliflower Shawarma, the plant based Manti, and the plant based Baba's Kofte. For dessert, we ordered the Antep Baklava, the Open Sesame Cake, Turkish Coffee Ice Cream, and the Dibek Turkish Kahve with Turkish Delight to round off the meal. Every thing we ate was insanely good, absolute perfection, and I cant wait to come back again. Their cake and baklava were dangerously delicious. We had to put some of our lunch in to go boxes because we wanted room for dessert. Fear not, everything reheats beautifully the next day. If you havent visited, please do. It was 100% worth the drive from the west side to support this woman owned, local business. There are two parking garages nearby, both are free. One at the mall and one directly across the street at Whole Foods.

Just updating my review, But came back to Istanbul again to celebrate a birthday we had a fantastic time! Everything was really good. The Meze Platter was on point and 10/10 while the Octopus & Zeytinyagli Barbunya was also amazing too! It was surprising filling. Overall, Staff were super friendly and I'll come back again for a special occasion.

This place is magnificent! The interior ambience makes you feel instantly transported to another realm. We were greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff that recommended great food and drinks. I got the evil eye (as pictured), it was delightful and savory! I highly recommend along with the imam. Both so delicious! If you are craving your next go to restaurant, date night or mediterranean cuisine ,Istanbul is the place! Tytan was the best!

If you're looking for a lively and welcoming place to dine in at, Istanbul Hawaii is the place to go to. We were kindly greeted by the hostesses when we first arrived, and their service was on top of everything. Our server was attentive, our food came out quickly, and our waters were frequently filled. BUT the food was the most rememberable of all.

A lot better than when they first opened, 5 of us in a corner nearer the kitchen. We were sweating...it was so hot plus we were having cocktails. I had some pomegranate bubbly thing... simple and good. Not sweet. Perf for me. We shared the pupu platter...that was delish. Next time I'm just having that. All of it so good. Everyone had wraps...I had calamari which was just regular bar food calamari so a little disappointing that it wasn't anything special. Menu a little overwhelming. LIke 5 pages of things...

Sat at the bar and the bartenders were so friendly and fun! Their drinks are very unique. The place is a higher-end, pricey restaurant for sure, but it's a dining experience from the ambiance to the plate settings to their menu.

From check-in to settling the bill, the service was exceptional. A big shout out to our fantastic and knowledgeable server, Tyten, who made our experience both memorable and fun! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. We were seated at the "King's Table" (a massive table that could easily accommodate our party and then some), which gave us plenty of room to relax and enjoy ourselves. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right balance of elegance and comfort. The decor, with its subtle Mediterranean touches, set the perfect mood for the evening. Tyten's food recommendations were spot-on, and we eagerly placed our orders based on his suggestions. He didn't disappoint--the food was expertly prepared, and every bite was bursting with flavor and care. The presentation was beautiful, and it was clear that the chefs put a lot of thought and passion into each dish. We laughed, enjoyed our meal, and savored dishes that transported us to the Mediterranean. The drink menu was equally impressive, offering a great selection of wines and cocktails that paired perfectly with our food. The attention to detail in every aspect of our dining experience was truly remarkable. We're already planning our next visit and can't wait to experience it all over again!
